Back on Condor Bank

Today was the first day after the storm where we had conditions to fish again... We went to Condor Bank in the early afternoon to see what´s happening there...There was less activity than before the storm and you can feel that winter is coming...We were lucky enough to see and catch one Blue Marlin around 650lbs on Black Bart´s RPP...the fish did some really cool jumps close to the boat and we could release it in very good conditions...More fishing tomorrow

Lost one

We were fishing on Condor Bank today and lost a Blue Marlin close to the leader...After that the charter got seasick and we had to come back early....

short day

Today we fished Condor Bank again and after 30 minutes trolling we hooked a Blue Marlin that died during the fight and we took it to the scale and it weighed 597lbs....Lure was Black Bart´s RPP

700 pounder

Today we went 1 for 3 on Blue Marlin fishing Azores Bank...the fish ate Black Bart´s Angle 1656 and was around 700 pounds...we also caught 2 Mahi Mahi...good weather for the weekend

Proper fishing again

We had a little bit more luck with the weather today and it was possible to fish Condor Bank...we  caught and released a small Blue Marlin around 200lbs on Black Bart´s Angle 1656....

Marlin fishing impossible

Today and yesterday we had really bad weather and it was impossible to fish for marlin for us...we did some bottom fishing and caught some groupers and snappers but we can´t wait to start trolling again...maybe the weather will be better tomorrow...

Wind

Today we had bad luck with the weather...in the morning the only more or less protected area was in front of the airport where we tried to fish and in the early afternoon the wind picked up again and it became too rough to fish proper and we decided to come back...we saw nothing..
