Final Results

This season we fished 60 days and caught:

25 Blue Marlin out of 36 bites
23 White Marlin
1 Spearfish
6 Bigeye Tunas
1 Yellowfin Tuna
1 Mako Shark

Good last day of the season

On our last day for the season we went to the north of Faial...we went 3 for 5 on Bigeye Tuna...2 ate Black Barts Eleuthera Plunger and one ate a small metal jet...was a great day and we are looking forward to next season!!!

Bad Weather

Yesterday we fished Condor Bank and had tuna bite on the way there...on the Bank we jumped off a White Marlin, nothing else...
now we have a couple days bad weather and can´t fish, but after that we will try to catch a couple more...

Azores Bank

We fished Azores Bank today and caught a nice ahi around 170lbs on Black Barts Eleuthera Plunger and we also had a bite from a White Marlin...

Fishing again

After 2 days without fishing we went back to Condor Bank today... we ended up with 1 for 2 on Blue Marlin, releasing a 300 pounder on Blue Breakfast and 0 for 2 on White Marlin...

2 Blues and 1 White

We went 2 for 3 on Blue Marlin, releasing a 500 and a 250 pounder and 1 for 2 on White Marlin fishing Condor Bank...lures were Black Barts Hot Breakfast, Hawaiian Breakfast and Eleuthera Plunger...

Good day fishing in the south of Pico...we went 2 for 2 on Blue Marlin, caught a double header (650 and 500lbs) on Black Barts Grander Candy and Big Rock Plunger... we also went 3 for 4 on White Marlin...

We went 2 for 2 on Blue Marlin fishing Azores Bank today...fish were around 500 and 200 pounds and both ate Hot Breakfast...in the afternoon we broke off a bluefin tuna on a 130...

We went back to Condor Bank today...we caught a 500 pounder on Hawaiian Breakfast, that made some good jumps next to the boat...we missed a White on the bite as well...

We had a good day fishing Condor Bank today, going 2 for 2 on Blue Marlin...fish were caught on Eleuthera Plunger (550lbs) and Hot Breakfast (350lbs)...

Fishing Condor Bank we caught a 700 pounder today...the fish ate Black Barts Blue Breakfast on the short corner...sick bite and lots of jumps, couldn´t have been better...

Fishing Azores Bank we went 1 for 1 on Blue Marlin, 4 for 5 on White Marlin and broke off a big Bluefin... the Blue was caught on Hawaiian Breakfast and the Whites on Eleuthera Plunger, Hot Breakfast, Hawaiian Breakfast and Blue Breakfast...

Good day for us fishing Condor Bank... we released 2 Blue Marlin around 450lbs...fish were caught on Hawaiian and Blue Breakfast...

Finally we were able to catch a Blue Marlin again at Condor Bank...it was a nice one around 750lbs that ate Black Barts Hawaiian Breakfast...we also had a couple knockdowns from White Marlin but couldn´t hook any...

Fishing took place at Condor Bank today...we went 1 for 2 on Blue Marlin, releasing a 400 pounder on Black Barts Cairns Prowler and broke off the other one what was a really good one...

We started at Azores Bank and fished Condor Bank in the afternoon but never had a bite....

We didn´t have any bites yesterday on Condor Bank...today we went there again and caught a mako shark and had another bite we couldn´t tell what it was...going Azores Bank tomorrow

Late Blue

We fished Condor Bank today...on the bank there where huge baitballs of mackerels on the surface, but no bites on the way back we first missed 2 White Marlin and finally caught a Blue around 200lbs on Black Barts Hawaiian Breakfast

Fishing Condor Bank we went 0 for 3 on Blue Marlin, on one we pulled hook like 15 yards to the boat and 1 for 4 on White Marlin...tomorrow will be very rough and we will be out again on Monday

Today we fished Condor Bank...we went 1 for 1 on Blue Marlin, releasing a 200 pounder on Eleuthera Plunger and caught a White Marlin on the Zulu out of more than 10 bites...

Tuna Action

Good day fishing Condor Bank today...in the morning we caught a yellowfin tuna around 150 pounds on Eleuthera Plunger...a few hours later we missed a white marlin and in the evening we caught a 253lbs bigeye tuna on Hot Breakfast...

White Marlin at Condor

We fished Condor Bank today and went 3 for 6 on White Marlin and raised 2 more...lots of birds and dolphins on the bank...fish we caught on Eleuthera Plunger, Big Rock Plunger and Hot Breakfast by Black Bart...

We went 2 for 2 on White Marlin today...both fish were caught on Eleuthera Plunger...no signs of Blue Marlin the last couple days...

White Marlin

Today we caught our first billfish this season...it was a white marlin that ate the Hot Breakfast by Black Bart...we also saw lots of bonitos around Condor Bank...hope that´s a good sign for the next days

Nice Tuna

We fished Azores Bank today and caught a 260lbs tuna...the fish ate the Eleuthera Plunger by Black Bart....on the way back home we missed a spearfish close to the island....

Missed the first blue

We made a trip to Princess Alice Bank today and on the way there and back we were trolling....We got a bite from a nice blue marlin but lost it after the first jump...looks like the season is getting started!!!!

World Cup

We fished the World Cup at Condor Bank today but had no luck and never got a chance to catch one...

First day 2013

It was the first day trolling for marlin this season for Habitat...We fished Azores Bank, Makaira Bank, Marreta Bank and the South of Pico but didn´t see anything...Tomorrow we´re gonna fish World Cup...
